OASIS
Welcome to OASIS, the vibrant ministry for adults 55+ at First Mt. Juliet! Each month, we gather for fellowship, sharing a meal and enjoying programs designed to enrich our spiritual lives. During the warmer months, we also take day trips to explore interesting destinations across the tri-state area. We host an annual retreat at one of our Baptist conference centers or plan exciting road trips. To get connected, reach out to David Fallin, our Senior Adult Pastor.
Our OASIS members also serve in many vital ministries within the church, including Kids Ministry, Student Ministry, greeters, committees, deacons, grief care, support groups, bus ministry, Worship Choir, and small group teaching. At First Mt. Juliet, we are committed to helping adults of all ages grow in their faith and fulfill the commands that Jesus gave us. Through the study of Scripture, we strive to live out His calling in three key ways:
Love God Through Personal and Corporate Worship

We encourage every adult to worship God daily through Bible study, prayer, praise, and living generously. Additionally, we invite all adults to gather with the church family each Sunday for worship, where we read and hear God's Word preached, participate in prayer, offer praise, and contribute through our tithes and offerings.
Love Others by Connecting and Serving

We believe in the power of community. That’s why we encourage adults to connect with others through our Sunday Morning LifeGroups, where you can engage in meaningful discussions, share life experiences, and build lasting relationships in a smaller, more intimate setting. Explore our Sunday Morning LifeGroups here.
Adults also have opportunities to connect through a variety of church ministries, including Kids, Students, Worship, Men’s, Women’s, 55+ (Oasis), and more. Through these ministries, you can serve, grow, and deepen relationships with others.
Go Into the World Through Local and Global Missions
Matthew 28:18-20
At First Mt. Juliet, we are deeply committed to missions. We encourage adults to serve both locally and globally, sharing the love of Christ through outreach efforts in our community and on mission trips around the world.
Together, we seek to love God, love people, and go into the world with the message of Jesus.
