Courtney and his wife, Crystal, are originally from Northeast Arkansas and have two daughters, Baileigh and Addalyn. He began his vocational ministry as a pastor in Northeast Arkansas, and in 2014, God called him into student ministry. After serving as a student pastor in both Northeast Arkansas and the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex area, God led his family to First Mt. Juliet in August of 2019. Courtney holds a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies and a Master of Divinity from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary.

Courtney has a passion for reaching students for Jesus and desires that every student lives out their faith by living in obedience to God’s Word, embracing life on mission for Jesus, and staying connected to the local church for life.
