Kathy Posey
Superintendent of MJCA
Kathy Posey earned her Bachelor of Science in Bible and Elementary Education with a minor in ELL from Johnson University. She went on to receive a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University and is currently pursuing her doctorate in School Leadership at Trevecca University.
Since 2024, Mrs. Posey has served as the Superintendent of MJCA. Prior to this role, she was the Lower School Principal for five years and taught Kindergarten, 1st, and 3rd grade. Kathy is also an advanced trainer for the school’s reading programs—Foundations and Frameworks.
Her passion for children’s education extends beyond the classroom. Kathy served as the Children’s Director at her church for six years, where she also started a preschool program while raising her children. All three of her daughters are proud graduates of MJCA.
