Pat Ragan
Missions Pastor
Pat joined the Ministry Team at First Mt. Juliet in December of 2023. He came to know the Lord as a freshman at Belmont College, worked at Opryland, attended MTSU, and met his wife, Traci, in Nashville. Pat graduated from Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee, with a Bible degree, and their three daughters all grew up at Woodland Park Baptist Church in Chattanooga.
Pat’s calling into full-time missions ministry began after he and Traci participated in their church’s first short-term missions trip. Since then, the Lord has given them opportunities to lead mission teams and partner with missionaries and church leaders around the world. They spent two years on the field as full-time missionaries in Guatemala and have also been involved in mobilizing and supporting both interns and career missionaries. Pat and Traci are passionate about encouraging others to take their next step of faith.
Before coming to First Mt. Juliet, Pat served at First Baptist Atlanta, where he oversaw all aspects of the church’s Global Missions ministry, including short-term teams and supporting 73 full-time missionaries.
Pat and Traci have three daughters—Lara (married to Tyler), Jessica (married to Daniel), and Hannah (married to Reid)—and four grandchildren: Judah, Asher, Simeon, and Lily.
