In life, God sometimes leads us down unexpected paths (Exodus 13:17-22). His direction may not always make sense in the moment, and at times, it can feel like we’ve encountered a divine setback. But what if those moments are actually opportunities for God to display His faithfulness in powerful ways?

In this message, we’ll explore how God redirects our paths (Exodus 14:1-4), and how what appears to be a detour can be part of His greater plan to reveal His strength and glory. We’ll learn that divine setbacks are often the very moments when God shows up in the most remarkable ways (Exodus 14:5-14).

God calls us to trust and obey as He leads us step by step, revealing His plan at just the right time (Exodus 14:15-22). As Adrian Rogers once said, “The problem can wait, but obedience can’t.” We’ll discover that God provides exactly what we need for the path He’s set us on (Exodus 14:23-31).

Often, our problems seem overwhelming because we feel that God is too late or not acting fast enough. Instead of focusing on the obstacles that appear in front of us, we’re called to focus on God’s faithfulness and trust that His timing is perfect.
